The people that defended those remasters and now find their way to shit abnout the same situation on Switch is even more funny. It isn't the same situation though, since apart from ports Switch has been getting a number of great exclusives pretty fast, something that didn't happened in the scenario you talk about.

I think some people should differentiate from remasters and current gen multiplatform titles, I don't even get how he's trying to link Doom to the remasters tbh because the issue then was rereleasing past gen games on new platforms, Doom and W2 are current gen multiplatform titles which the whole context of the situation is far different as these two games fall into another argument of Switch running current gen AAA titles.
