These threads do nothing but rally people to mock X group, whether it'd be liberals or people from Alabama. 

Because it's against the rules and frankly, it's a bit lazy to just say his claims are stupid without backing it up or saying that he's stupid. The best way is just show how his opinion is stupid or wrong by refuting it through logic and sources. If he doesn't change his opinion, others will at least see what you mean if you have solid points. As I say, you're getting too emotionally involved. it's to the point that you're basicially acting like "fuck the rules, I'll say it anyway" with posts like this. Just relax and take a break from political threads. 

I don't think I need a break. If what I say isn't wanted here, then in all honesty I'd be better off banned for the sake of everyone.
