This is a fair point.  But in the case of anime niche titles, my biggest fear is the lack of availibility near the end of its production cycle causing an increase of price due to high demnd and less supply.  So I jumped on the first two games in case they become OOP.

Aye, I see your point. This is especially a thing with limited/special editions.
