What we have seen is not an indicator of retail version performance we don't even know if this is running on Switch hardware do we? However I would of thought 60fps was needed at least docked and wonder if 30fps will be the sacrifice to get it working in portable mode.
Also Skyrim had 2018 on that video, is that just the Japanese release? It will be annoying if many of these games launch 2018 but then when they do hit a lower performance level than the previous videos. I.e. it helps sell the console at Christmas but then the actual games take a graphic detail for retail.
I've wondered if Nintendo could up the cpu speed? It was claimed 1ghz before but a tweak in a later firmware to allow 1.1 or 1.2ghz would significantly assist developing these ports. Especially in docked mode where battery drain is of no importance. If Nintendo find the console is running sufficiently cool docked then up that speed. There is the potential for the Switch to be about 70% of the performance of ps4/xbox one in cpu terms at full speed like Nvidia Shield. That would be something like 1.8-2ghz. The Switch can always downclock again if the temperature rises on the fly. I just wonder if that is possible. Unfortunately portable mode is the opposite and I suspect 1ghz will stick for obvious reasons but even a small increase is possible there.
It's looking great for Switch I have to say but I'd still like these games to have some exclusive features or levels rather than a direct port which I'm personally not interested in for games I've bought before and still have.
