I think Publishers have done some research and expect the Switch to continue to sell well and need software. Also many of the publishers are American and the Switch has been very successful in the US. On their doorstep its clear the Switch is doing well. Perhaps if the Switch had been successful in Europe but lower sales in the US it would be different. There is still risk though. We don't know how these games will sell. Perhaps the success of Streetfighter for example was because it is a nice portable friendly game. Maybe these more ambitious titles won't be received as well.
