FANTASY ROUNDUP: WEEK 1

Biggest Upset: Arch 92.78, Nohrian Scum 76.02

A matchup that I was favored to win by more than 30 points; if anyone needed a reminder that fantasy projections are unreliable, this was it. Angelus benefitted from surprise games by Terrance West (14 points) and the Pittsburgh defense (16), and added that to solid performances from Derek Carr, Isaiah Crowell, and Zach Ertz to easily exceed expectations. It was more than enough to overcome a mixed effort from MT’s players; Jonathan Stewart and Todd Gurley had big days, but Le’Veon Bell, Sammy Watkins, and Russell Wilson all turned in duds. I realized this was a lost cause when the Texans’ defense, best in the league last year, posted 0 points in a blowout loss to the Jaguars.

You know, I kept looking at the game center thinking "huh.....Bell STILL hasn't done anything.......against the Browns. Guess I'm looking good."
