He is saying that EDGE gives Nintendo a higher score than the average and Playstation a lower score than the average, where did he say that he played the game? It is just a matter of numbers.

That claim itself is false having followed Edge for around 2 decades now,heir scores have very much been in line with other outlets. 

Your first point may be correct, but you provide no information other than you have followed edge for two decades. Then your second point strains the validity of your first point as Edge most definetly do not fall in line with other outlets.
