Funny how people try to justify the price by trying to find some rational reasons when there is only one clear reason. A game costs this much on this platform because the publisher wants it to cost that much. Don't pretend as if prices are forced upon publishers as if they have no choice.
To quote Jim:
"It's just not enough for AAA game companies to make money. They want all of the money."
Incidentally the same reason why the Switch costs $300 and not $250.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
