1) The announcements Sony made at GDC and at their gamer's day are good news for the hardcore crowd, but these people alone aren't going to bring the PS3 back on track. Of course I could be wrong, but I think that Sony has no idea how to increase PS3 sales in the long term, all they said is they are rethinking their strategy for the PS3. We'll see what their plans are next week anyway. 2) Nintendo still hasn't got announcements of big 3rd party franchises for the Wii, so far they are merely receiving spinoffs. That's a good enough reason to show off games and ideas that guarantee a bright future for the Wii. Also they have to fully unveil their online plans and who says that Nintendo is unable to create new big franchises? We'll see what their plans are next week anyway. 3) Sony is of course going to try to have the biggest show because they are in last place. We'll see what their plans are next week anyway. At the end it's pretty much pointless, to discuss E3 indepth right now. It's all speculation. |
Why does it number my paragraphs on its own?
Anyway, how is Little Big Planet and Home for the hardcore crowd? Those two are literally the opposite of what the average hardcore player wants.
Edit: Sony should show the new PSP and/or PSP-PS3 connectivity. Those two things should be there.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
