1. Guess the disappointment of the first game effected the sequel.
2. Which is why the Knack jokes weren't funny in the first place, also I think it originated from the UK where the first game outsold Super Mario 3D World on the first week( 3D World outsold Knack right after that).

While bundles did help in this, this is still impressive not even the other Forza games didn't chart this high when the next game comes out in less than a month.
