The problem I have with "It" is that the more I hear about all it's different versions the more it sounds like a confused piece of ideas mashed together. There's the novel which is super fucking long, has a child gangnbang scene, weird as lore, and a bunch of other shit. There's the original made for TV movie which is long as fuck, boring, and has really inconsistent rules for the It monster(which I think is a problem with the book too). And then there's this movie which sounds like it's good only because it doesn't really tackle the weird shit that It is known for.

It makes me turned off from the franchise even though I think the basic concept is cool. I remember as a kid I watched the It TV movie and it was just boring as shit. Reading a long book or watching a movie which apparently isn't close to being as weird or eccentric as the book, meh. Maybe I'll watch it, maybe I won't. Opinions on these 3 iterations seem really mixed anyways.

I just don't know what to believe about these series. I don't know which fans to trust. And i'm too lazy to go to a movie that i don't have faith in.
