Ive been saying that for the longest time, that development usually takes 2-4 years, and the Wii was only seen as a success a little over a year ago. That's not enough time for R&D , prototyping and production to take place. Usually a game is announced at pre-alpha or alpha stage of development.
I have a suspicion that RE5 is going to show up on the Wii, using the RE4 engine. But I've also been saying that for some time now.
