Fair to note, it has pretty high digital sales. First week shipments were ~172k, putting it digitally at 28k in Japan. It is pretty overshipped though, so now we just have to see if it has decent legs so Capcom has to ship more to retailers. But it's MH on a portable, it'll be fine.

I just thought, what if those digital numbers are so high because people outside of Japan are buying it through the Japanese eShop? 🤔 Probably a very small percentage, but that would be pretty cool. Region free ftw!

How do you know it has sold 28k digitally? That still puts first week over shipped by about 85k

I think the problem is that digital sales in Japan usually aren't enough to make impressive sales figures. Even if it did 113k that wouldn't be good.

Decent legs also won't make it impressive either.
