I'm not keen on straight ports over to Switch. I wish they would mix them up more with new content like Mario Kart. As an owner of multiple consoles I tend to gravitate to the cheapest version if it still plays well. I have a gaming windows tablet that can play my steam games and for indie games they often cost pence which run well on the tablet. Being a gadget freak I want to buy a Switch but I really can't justify it unless it builds up a good library of exclusive and original games.
Mario Odyssey is still currently the only game I really want on Switch as a priority. I really need about 6 games to take my fancy before I bite. It just feels for me that won't be until sometime next year. I sort of feels that all these ports are slowing down the arrival of original games on Switch but I don't know if that is true.
