Switch had very strong start (better than Nintendo expected especially because launch was outside holiday season), Nintendo still can't keep up with demand and Nintendo have problems increasing production. I don't see anything strange in all that, also 1st link is obvous false rumour, Switch was launched in 2017. not in 2016. ;)
