To beat an amatuer in video game creation, but a professional in anime character design  Masatsugu Saito.

I don't even really like Nomura's work outside Kingdom Hearts and I can give him enough respect as a professional to say there is an easily recognizable difference in their work. It wasn't a tall order for Nomura.

I never said that Saito wasnt a capable person, its just that in terms of designing carachters, and at least in the videogame industry of which is the industry I know well, Nomura is one of the most respected and have designed alot of the most recognizable carachters in the industry.Cloud, Tifa, Tidus, Sora and more that Im forgetting right now, are all his work.Saito may be up for the job, but given Nomura pedigree, it is a tall order one way or another.

 

One thing is not liking his style, which is perfectly normal.But saying that his design is vomit inducing, the legacy of a man like Nomura, is forcing it to say the least.

I just don't like to admit anything Nomura does is good, lol. (Do to his involvement in Final Fantasy) I actually like his work in Kingdom Hearts a lot, and find his characters in this game could be Organization XIII members with a few tweeks (like black long coats).
