Wasnt he lead charachter designer since FF IV?Maybe Im getting it wrong and he had minor roles back then.

anyways, thanks for the correction.I was convinced that he was involved more deeply with more FF entries for some reason.

To beat an amatuer in video game creation, but a professional in anime character design  Masatsugu Saito.

I don't even really like Nomura's work outside Kingdom Hearts and I can give him enough respect as a professional to say there is an easily recognizable difference in their work. It wasn't a tall order for Nomura.
