Just to be clear, I'm not defending them, I'm just trying to minimize the importance of this situation or the overall subject. I'll judge them once all 3 films will be released, but for now I'll have to give them something, Star Wars is growing.

Then it's not really worth talking about with you. I'll admit my original post was a bit overblown, I agree that we should wait for the movies to be finished before judging them *entirely*. Putting my personal opinion on quality aside though, it's not really arguable that Disney has mismanaged the license. Yes they are making a profit , I already stated that. Doesn't change the issues they have had. You yourself are admitting to trying to minimize the subject/issue. Nothing wrong with ignoring how a movie is made, but in a thread solely about such a topic, trying to minimize it from the get go doesnt do anything positive.

I think I used the wrong word to express myself.

English is not my main language and maybe minimize was not necessarily the term I was looking for. I meant something like ''let's try to moderate ourselves'' or ''let's have a wait and see approach''. Maybe I used the right term, I don't know.

Anyway, I still think it's a good conversation to have. I know that sometimes, people may feel that I am a pessimist, but I try to keep my two feets on the ground as much as possible. And sometimes, it can be good to have an approach like that. You said yourselves that your original post was a bit overblown, I hope it's because of our converstation, if it's not, I won't try to get any credit for it. But I do think that sometimes, brining a more moderate opinion in a thread while it's still young, might help to not get it to overblown. So yes, minimize can be a positive thing sometime. And I'm not talking abouting trolling, this is just plainly wrong.

I think this conversation is interesting, but if you believe there's nothing more to add, I agree that we can move on something else.
