I feel there are a ton of directors who could of made jurassic world a hit. The film was pretty average although still enjoyable.
I think the public was just generally thirsty for a new jurassic Park and unless a director completely fucked up the film was always going to do well.
So I don't think this guy should get too much credit over the film.
