Normally I'll be with you on this, but we're talking Star Wars and Disney won't risk having the IP lose any value, they won't release something that will jeopardize the serie, even if they need to replace their director. You just have to look at Warner Bros, letting Zack Snyder direct and produce the DCU was a terrible mistake.

I'm not saying it's wrong to throw this guy out. He's not even that good of a director. I'm just saying that the way Disney has handled the Star Wars license has been pretty bad so far, this isn't the only movie they've kicked multiple directors out of, they are doing a bad job managing their staff.
