Everyone in this thread defending him clearly didn't click the video. Look at the first 90 seconds and come back and edit your posts.
Not only that, the guy has apparently been a video games journalist for 18 years, and the title was originally "Gameplay footage of Cuphead - it ain't easy".
There's zero merit to whiteknighting this sorry display. It's embarrassing, it's awkward to watch, and this guy has no place as a writer about games, all the more so if he's actually been doing it almost 20 years as he claims. The dude literally jumped against a pillar for over a minute nonstop. Words can't explain it. Watch the first 90 seconds. Then come back.
