Would you agree on a pre-emptive strike against North Korea?

People were so quick to snap at Obama for the Iran-Nuclear deal, but it seems to me like looking at it now that deal was a very, very good one as it prevented a situation as we have in NK now before it got out of control by incentivizing Iran peacefully to cease their nuclear ambitions in exchange for strong economic incentives. 

Yelling at North Korea and trying to intimidate them doesn't work IMO, the only message that sends to them is that they need to accelerate their nuclear plans because they need that to protect the regime. 

I'm going to play the devil's advocate here but by allowing North Korea to have nuclear weapons then this will allow any country that wants to have nuclear weapons to develop them. Eventually this could spiral out of control: South Korea & Japan getting nukes to protect themselves, the SEA nations developing nukes to protect themselves from China. At the end of the day, we'll end up right back to where we started.

North Korea doesn't care that anyone else has nukes. They already know they can be wiped out, their play is to make sure they cause as much damage in such a scenario that it would be incredibly painful to the world community, that's all they care about. 

And as I said above, I blame George W. Bush for a lot of this. His stupid comments and war mongering pushed North Korea to the nuclear option.
