My first day in the police academy, the instructor asked "Are you willing to kill another person?" Some guy said no. The instructor said "Get the hell out of my class."

OK, it seems I must rephrase my thought about the police and killing people: The police aren't supposed to be supposed to kill people. It's sometimes a necessary evil, but what I just read doesn't seem right.
