You guys tend to frame this stuff as blacks are being arrested more and staying in jail longer because of racism when that's not true. That's a political slogan. If it was true then the disproportionate amount of arrests of blacks wouldn't match the disproportionate amount of crimes blacks commit or the disproportionate amount of convictions of blacks. If a ton of people were being arrested but not convicted or charged because they weren't commiting the alleged crimes, you'd might have a point on cops but..... For your scenario to be true, the cops, lawyers, judges, prison staff would have to on this conspiracy against blacks. That's just lunacy to suggest something like this these days with all of the SJWs ready to pounce on anything. Also, alot of black people work as laywers, cops and judges but yet black criminals are treated the same.
How about we just go with the first thing people should have asked themselves on stuff like this. Did the person(s) just commit more crimes and that's why they're being arrested and sentenced more? If they statistically commit more crimes, why wouldn't the cops pay more attention to them?

The first article that I provided does account for previous sentences. Regardless of the fact that black people work within the justice system, it is clear that the American justice system has much more white people representing it. Same with politics. There are far more white politicians.
America's justice system is flawed, and stating otherwise is regressive at its finest. Compare how many people are incarcerated within the American prison system with any other country and the results are staggering.
As others have pointed out, the areas in which America's crime rates are more prominent also happen to have much more poverty. Harsh living conditions are more likely to perpetuate crime. When a white person commits the same crime, they spend less time in prison. White rapists on numerous occassions have spent less time in prison than a black person associated with drugs. America's war on drugs is terribly handled. All of this needs to be accounted for, so too does America's police brutality. Whether or not the person has commited the crime or not is redundant; it has been stated numerous times that other countries do not constantly resort to shooting people, or their pets for that matter.

What you sourced only listed statistics that perpuate a false narrative that's beneficial to a certain politcal party. It's obviously biased because it didn't show any stats on black crime rates or compare things of equal nature. That data is relevent to the info they were looking at. it has everything to do with why more blacks are' in the justice system in the first place.
Who really gives a fuck how many of any race is where. I hate identity politics..... "Let's fight racism by being racist" "Let's fight sexism by being sexist" If they're qualified for job, that's the only basis for them to be there. If people in a district elects someone because they like that person, that's good enough. It doesn't matter how many white people are where because the vast majority of white people (people in general, too) are good people that are capable of not being racist. What matters is if any person is being barred from things like that based on their race, creed, sex or political affliation. The end result doesn't matter if people are not barred from anything because it will come down to people having their own choice with what they want to do.
You only care about the end result that everything has to be split even but that's beyond irrational because the real world doesn't work like that. If you look at any country or place on earth, no race or sex is split even on anything. Some people act differently than others and that will change the result.
Please don't try to talk to me about regressive actions when "progressives" spread it all around.
