Having a feminist write most of the script so that a female lead without any Jedi knowledge at all or flying skills manages to take down a fucking Sith and out-fly Han Solo is about as SJW as it can get. Seriously. 

Hmm did a feminist actually write the script with that in mind? I just assumed disney was just doing as they please with story regardless of canon. They did throw all of the books to the wind.
