I don't see why people are complaining. Engines are just tools. They used the best tool to create the most polished experience they could considering all other factors (cost, time, hardware capabilities, etc.) There are always trade-offs, and it doesn't seem to me like this is a weak effort.

People are upset because they feel Switch should be getting an experience at par with X1 and PS4.

I think its certainly possible to get Frostbite on Switch and create a more feature complete version of Fifa 18 on Switch. That's based on the great ports of BF on 7th gen consoles.

Frankly, if I was a Fifa fan I would just buy it on X1 or PS4. But if all you have is Switch, PS3, or 360. Then settle with what you get, maybe wait for a price cut, or don't play it all. Its really that simple.

Frankly, Switch owners should be glad when they get significant 3rd party games. Because there isn't much happening at the moment.

Beacuse people are familiar with power difrence, any reasonable person on Switch don't expect same experience that is at par with X1 and PS4.

It's definitely possible to get current version of Frostbite on Switch, but that would probably mean 720p-900p resolution and lower FPS, in this case you are getting 1080p/60fps.

Biggest advantage of Fifa 18 for Switch is full handheld mode, and playing local multiplayer even in handheld/tabletop mode.
