Good companies tend to right the ship after they screwed up. Nintendo after Wii U , Sony after ps3 launch and Microsoft after X1.
Sony and Microsoft fixed their products while they were still active ( x1 and ps3 were both totally different after a few years on the market) while Nintendo abandoned the Wii U ( I enjoyed it btw) for a better product and better support.
Bad hardware companies just screw up over and over until they throw in the towel ( sega, Atari)
