PS3 was going to be easier to emulate because of the 7800 GT in there. The hard part is getting Cell emulated. Though with that said, there should be a lot of documentation on Cell since the PS3 was designed to be used as a Linux box on the CPU end. So IBM has a lot of info on their CPU calls available (Had anyways). So it shouldn't be horrible to get a PS3 emulator running more accurately than a PS2 (PS2's hardware is actually more complex than the PS3).
