Persona 5 is almost perfect now on PC using latest version of RPCS3.

I'm arguing that emulating a modern console game on PC does nothing to help "preserve" the game for future generations. 

So basically, it's not about preservation to you. You just don't care about the games.

I'm pretty sure it's about keeping exclusives, well, exclusive. Also to not deprive companies that make games of the money they earned. Most people who use this emulator to play P5 won't be buying P5. Atlus won't make money off of it, and pirates will make the same old excuse of "I wasn't going to pay for it anyway."

 

It's really not as much of an issue with older games except for where emulation crosses over with games that are still available for purchase (like VC games and whatnot). It only becomes a real issue if someone is pirating a game that is still for sale.
