Well, I knew there was a LOT of crossover games(like I think there's 3 or 4 One Piece games already?) but I thought it was just Dynasty, and then just crossovers. It's weird that they have "side-original" series haha. The fact that they have one for chinese and japanese history, and then a crossover for japanese and chinese history is just so clustered. I wonder if Orochi has way more combat than Dynasty and Samurai because of it?

Well the One Piece etc ones aren't really crossovers. The only thing they share with regular DW games is the gameplay, but even that has slight variations in each series. They all follow their own story/characters with no influence from Dynasty/Samurai. Haven't played many of them (not too keen on many of the IPs they use), but I must say the Arslan one was great if you like that anime/manga!

As for Orochi, while it uses the Dynasty/Samurai characters all of the battles and storylines used are original for the games. So in some ways there's more content (especially in playable characters, an absolute tonne of them in Orochi), but often the battles aren't as good or fleshed out as those found in Dynasty/Samurai.

I didn't mean crossover like DW meets One Piece just the gameplay similarities. And thanks!
