Microsoft makes minimal IP progress with key IP's each gen. At the rate they are going the day they would confident to give Halo a rest might never come.  Halo and Gears werent even originally made by them so its food for thought on their actual abilitites. This is...unless they decide to have some heart and act like a competent game developer like their competition.
