You wouldn't get that polish on 7th gen machines, but Switch is still closer to 7th gen specs versus 8th gen.

When your base graphics are so poor, it leaves you lots of headroom for polish. Imagine this game had come out on PS3/360 six years ago, would people really have considered it visually impressive? Hell no, not on systems that were producing games like Uncharted 2/3, Gears of War 3, God of War 3, etc.
