Most political threads start calm and civil, with people reacting to the topic. But after a while, it either dies or turns into a endless discussion.

Issue is that (insert group of people everyone knows I'm talking about) are usually the ones starting issues. 

Whenever anyone says some dumbass comment like "lol religion of peace" or anything obnoxious, they always ruin the conversation. It's flaming/baiting in my eyes, but unfortunately the issue won't stop until it's given attention. 

New users who see people like that probably get turned off and avoid the place. I don't want that happening.
