In Japan? Pretty sure that's false. 3DS has sold bad in the rest of the World, but is a resounding success in Japan.
Anyway, Switch is still supply constrained (after three weeks selling between 70k and 90k units), so we'll have to wait until supply chases demand to know it's real potential.
