Go glass all the way. I have tried both and glass is not only easier to apply, but the screen protector itself is more durable and scratch resistant. It is nothing to get small scratches on a plastic one, it still does its job and keeps the screen unscratched.

However a glass one is better to look at and mine has yet to get a single scratch on it.

Also keep in mind that touch screen functionality is not hindered by either option. I got a two pack of glass ones for 10 bucks. In this case a little extra goes a long way in my opinion.
