The first game was alright for an original concept, but I would never touch it again. It had no replayability and Mummy Me Maze Forever was unforgivably pointless. The original did not sell that well so I doubt Nintendo would have a sequel in the works.

It sold much more than one million, and it was a game that was reusing assets from Super Mario World, which was a game that already had the whole concept of Captain Toad locked down....

1.32 million or something. I suppose that's "decent" for the Wii U, but honestly, Treasure Tracker was pretty forgettable. It's not until this thread that I was reminded of that game's existence. It doesn't seem to be a requested game by any means that will help push system sales. No need for everything to have a sequel tbh. Nintendo should prioritize original titles like ARMS and Splatoon. ARMS did very well for a full-priced fighting game.
