Proposal: Get political threads off the front page

Why do we need a compromise? If some people are so upset by merely seeing a political thread on here that they don`t want to come to the site anymore, then honestly all I can say to them is good riddance!

I guess it's just that there's users on this site I like that I know are turned-off by it, and I don't want them to leave
