I'm pretty sure the minigames aren't coming back until Nintendo at least figures out how to make a lobby screen less cluttered, because as of right now there's no room anywhere on that thing. It only happened on the Wii U because they had 2 screens.

Either way, I'd much rather be able to change gear or be able to leave in a lobby rather than have those minigames back. It's also good they still brought back the only decent minigame from the first game and actually made it almost fun this time.

ARMS is perfectly able to have a practice room with a lobby running in the background so why not Splatoon 2?

 

And almost forgot: Give us playable Octolings, Nintendo! Put them behind an Amiibo or the online subscription if you have to. I'm trying to give you my money but sometimes, you won't let me.
