The PS4 (EU/US) and Xbox One (in US) are proberbly going to have higher sales numbers on third party games from western third parties.
The Nintendo Switch is the Ideal console for people in Japan and sales will reflect it.
Altough they shouldn't ignore numbers they should also realize there isn't a 1:1 mirror in sales because of the handheld-gaming focus in Japan that hasn't passed over in full force to the EU/US
