It's ok, no surprise really with the Marvel Studios avatar we were not expecting you to have great taste : D

Just kidding, anyways, if you like it that's fine, I just don't understand what anyone could possibly find appealing about it. To say it is better than the original is just mind boggling to me. New Ghostbusters is not even funny on accident.

I'm sure that if this had been an original ip with no connection to the original Ghostbusters it would have done even worse. As it stands, it is easily one of the worst films of the last decade, and it is particularily caustic as it mars the Ghostbusters franchise as a whole which stands as the of the best films of all time (I think most people were even looking back fondly on the mediocre Ghostbusters 2 at this point as well.)

I couldn't even finish watching Ghostbusters 2016; was just painfully unfunny and unlikable. If I was ever going to kill myself I would put on Ghostbusters 2016 on my tv while also having The Force Awakens play on my laptop ... just to make sure I'd actually pull the trigger.

Ghostbusters 2 already "marred" the franchise, I was only a young kid when that came out but even I knew it was mediocre. I remember kids deeming it "lame" and wanting to see Batman '89 instead. This has been a dead IP since then because Bill Murray hated the franchise aspect of the idea that he didn't want to do another one.

The first Ghostbusters is fun and witty, but can we give it a rest with the "masterpiece" stuff, lol. Its not freaking The Godfather or something.

The Force Awakens is not that bad either, sheesh.

Ghostbusters 2 was relatively harmless compared to Ghostbusters 2016, and it didn't fully kill the franchise ... I remember the TV show and, eventually, the Ghostbusters video game did alright. I don't, however, see how anyone could seriously pitch a new Ghostbusters movie ever again after Ghostbusters 2016 ... maybe in another 30 years I guess.

I'm not saying first Ghostbusters is greatest comedy every made, but I think we can all agree it probably deserves a spot in the top 20 or something.

Sorry, but Force Awakens was garbage, and I can't think of anything positive to say about it. It does kind of make the prequels look better by comparison though, I guess that is a good thing?
