It really does show just how different the buying habits of "core" gamers are to the average gamer on the street when you consider that Disgaea 5 has been bought by nearly everyone in this thread but you have a game like overcooked bought by one person here, with its own video on digital foundry about the tech issues it has on the Switch, yet on the EU Eshop it is listed as the number one game in the charts in sales.

We really are not a group which reflects the actual purchasing habits of the vast majority of gamers I would wager.

Yes, that I thought before already. That's why opinions on gamer forums are not representative for success or failure of the game or hardware.

Aye when you see a poll on things like "what % of gamers will buy the ps4 pro" and 100% of users here click "FUCK YA MONEY IS NO ISSUE GIVE ME THEM TERAFLOPS" Just have to look at the results and think.... yup... hardcore gamers (man I hate that term, but you know what I mean... gaming enthusiasts not just hobbyists) are in no way an actual %age representation of the greater gaming community, we're very much a valid segment of gaming (as seen by the insane attach rates we hold to our consoles (I on average have 100+ games for each of my systems) but our views and polls can't be applied to the total numbers of PS4's sold to extrapolate things such as total sales of Ps4 pro models for example.
