The controls were fine even when using the d-pad only gripe was the first person shooting and sure analogue would have been prefered, Camera was fine as well and pacing was like any other Metroid game, these are the exaggerations I'm talking about from people invested into just hating the game.

Having to change your grip to on the controller and go from NES-style to pointing at the screen just to use missiles is not fine. Camera not shifting when backtracking leaving player with very limited forward visibility is not fine. Other Metroid games don't grind the pace to a complete halt with pointless "walk slowly forwards" and "find the right pixel" sequences. These are all the hallmarks of objectively bad game design, and one does need to be invested in hating anything to recognize obvious flaws.

The camera part is BS mate I played through the game and the wasn't limited visibility throughout the game like you're painting so that's an outright lie sorry, the so called grind to a halt part only last a minute or so then things go back to normal the's like only one part where that is prolonged so no the aren't pacing issues like you claim so again the game is not as bad as some of you try to exaggerate, it's very playable and fun and it's clear some are invested into just hating the game.
