Something I've noticed in Splatoon matches

I've been on plenty of teams where 2 players score over or around 1000.  The end result is usually very lopsided for the team with those players.  What that means is that there was a lot of enemy ink which the person who got 1000 covered.  I found 1 weapon that works much better for me and if the teams are 4 on 4 my teams usually win and I usually score around 1000 when I use that weapon.  Don't know why that weapon is so OP for me when higher even level weapons don't work as well.

The majority of the close wins are because I or someone else took the time to cover all the side areas from the starting areas while the other team didn't and went straight for the middle.  That gives us a 3-5% advantage from the start.

Yeah I get that I also cover all ink in the starting areas and when we are losing I take a side route to splat areas where the enemy ignores. I even won once with that 45.4-44.9 or something. I usually get between 700-900 points
