The PS4 Pro has a faster CPU so loading times are shorter (not by much, btw). The Pro also supports SATA III (I read that this makes a huge difference in loading times for those that have SATA III compatible SSD). |
Exactly. It's not just the extra CPU, the Pro has a SATA 3 interface which immensely improves performance with faster drives like hybrid drives or SSDs. It also means it's much more future proof which imho accounts for the whole console.
