What is boost mode? Are the loading times confirmed to be faster and why?

"Boost Mode is a feature that is available on PlayStation 4 Pro systems which have system software version 4.50 or higher. Turning on boost mode may improve the frame rate of some PS4 games that were released before the introduction of PS4 Pro on November 10, 2016."

Here are two videos from DF:

The PS4 Pro has a faster CPU so loading times are shorter (not by much, btw).  The Pro also supports SATA III (I read that this makes a huge difference in loading times for those that have SATA III compatible SSD).

Exactly. It's not just the extra CPU, the Pro has a SATA 3 interface which immensely improves performance with faster drives like hybrid drives or SSDs. It also means it's much more future proof which imho accounts for the whole console.
