Well, they would lose a game that sold about  17 million copies on PS4, PS3 and Vita. 
If Microsoft made Minecraft a console exclusive, it would be a systemseller. A pretty huge one to be honest. 

I am wondering as to why they haven't, really - it's something like making Lego exclusive to a certain kind of glove... it could be huge for their ecosystem focus!
