This happens to me a lot where people left during a match or who knows why they are not there anymore. Rarely, we even won a match with just 3 people vs 4 where the guy with 0 points got 1000 points.
It's far worse than on Splatoon 1. But I guess there is an issue with the WiFi connection on the Switch.
It seems that a local WiFi connection will still have disconnections.
