They could do that but nintnedo wouldn't buy their ips. They are a proud company that focus on the market they are going after. Micorsoft doesn't have ips in Nintendos league and quite frankly they are aiming elsewhere when it comes to the type of audience for the games they are pushing out are different. Should nintnedo branch out? Yes. The problem is that the are not.
