Sony needs to sell me a PS1 Classic with these features

Considering technically I can buy those games by circumventing this then it shouldn't be the case. The problem was Sony's insistence on making it unnecessarily complicated by tying US and EU account to their region rather than allowing accounts to move forth like Microsoft allows and then rejecting Paypal even though the competitors have supported it all the time... 

So they eventually censored the Japan only content, even if unintentionally... 

The mere fact that you can circumvent a half-hearted barrier might mean that Sony is legally required to create some sort of barrier in the first place.
