| TheBlackNaruto said: Wow way to go Sony! It is still crazy though....up YOY in sales but down YOY in shipments lol. So they shipped less but sold more that is funny. But it is still odd so if sales are up and the 2nd half of the year is bigger than the first then wouldn't they have to up the shipments? I still think they are low balling shipments but time will tell. Personally I think this will be the peak year in sales. But shipments is something totally different. |
Well that could be translated on how much they were stuffing in preparation for something in Q2 or holidays... but it sure is funny.

ok, that's good to hear i remember when people were talking about PS4's success possibly being in vain because Sony might not be able to turn things around. Not sure how much truth there was to it, but people said it |
Even funnier was people betting that PS4 alone would save Sony, but sure the ones that based that PS4 would help Sony image and recover other markets may have reason.
But I would say Sony have been recovering good enough over the last couple years.
in 5 years stock went from 11 to 41, quite the improvement. for reference MS from 30 to 74, Nintendo 8 to 37.
Of course each company stock doesn't relate to other, but the increase in value have been quite good for Nintendo as games only, Sony as eletronics (impulsionated a lot by PS4 itself) and MS as a regular giant.

Predicting 92 million PS4 sales in a comment, and predicting 122 million PS4 sales in your sig. It's gonna pass 92 million easy. That's easy money in a bet. |
He commented that he understood a post on the sales and that he was lowballing the sales.
