Resident Evil: Revelations 1 and 2 coming to Switch in late 2017

I played RE7 on PS4 but didn't like it. I disliked the lack of enemy variety, the tedious inventory management, the controls that felt rough, and I found the story pretty dumb. How do the Revelations games compare? Any input would be appreciated.
